ARTIST-TALK WITH RICHARD SHARUM

In collaboration with The Bronx Documentary Center

Website I @richard_sharum

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting photographer Richard Sharum for an engaging artist talk about his long-term project Campesino Cuba. Beginning in 2015, Sharum traveled across Cuba to document the lives of isolated farmers and their surrounding communities during a time of national transition. Through his striking black-and-white photographs, he reveals the profound relationship between people and the land they depend on — a reflection of resilience, identity, and change.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Richard Sharum and GOST Books for the generous donation of his books to The Bronx Documentary Center library collection.
